XLNative and Trelliq Labs
Trelliq Labs LLC develops XLNative, a native Mac application that connects Microsoft Excel for Mac to a local Interactive Brokers TWS or IB Gateway session.
Why XLNative exists
Interactive Brokers users on Windows have traditionally used technologies such as RTD, ActiveX, and DDE to connect Excel to TWS. Those integrations depend on Windows components and do not provide the same workflow in Excel for Mac.
XLNative is built specifically for that Mac gap. It exposes focused Excel formulas for live market data, options IV and Greeks, account values, positions, cost basis, and session P&L.
How the product works
- XLNative runs locally on an M-series Mac.
- It connects directly to the user's local TWS or IB Gateway API session.
- It uses the market-data permissions available to the user's IBKR account.
- It makes live values available through formulas in the Excel for Mac desktop app.
- It does not ask for or collect the user's IBKR username or password.
