Current beta download

The current public beta is delivered after a short email signup on this website. It is free during beta, does not require payment information, and expires August 15, 2026.

A newer beta build may be posted before expiration. Download the latest beta from the download page.

Future paid delivery

When commercial access opens, paid XLNative access is expected to be delivered digitally through checkout. After purchase, customers should receive an order confirmation email with a receipt, license details, and a link to download the current macOS release.

Install on your Mac

1. Confirm you are using an M-series Mac and the Microsoft Excel for Mac desktop app, version 16.4 or later.
2. Download the XLNative macOS installer from the download page.
3. Install and launch XLNative from Applications.
4. Optional: add XLNative to System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions so it can start automatically after a Mac restart.
5. Use the current public beta while beta access is available.
6. Start TWS or IB Gateway and enable API access.
7. Install the Excel add-in from XLNative if prompted.
8. Restart Excel, choose Home > Add-ins > XLNative to open or confirm the add-in, and try =XN.MARKET("AAPL").

Beta download

The current signed and notarized beta build is for M-series Macs and the Excel for Mac desktop app. Beta builds expire by design and may be replaced with newer builds. Request the current beta from the download page.
