Local operation

XLNative runs on your Mac. It reads data from your local TWS / IB Gateway session and makes that data available to Excel through the XLNative add-in.

IBKR login

You sign in directly to TWS or IB Gateway as usual. Trelliq Labs does not need your IBKR username or password. XLNative connects to the API session exposed by TWS or IB Gateway on your computer and works with or without Read-Only API selected. Read-only access is recommended unless another IBKR API app requires write access.

Market data

Trelliq Labs does not sell market data. XLNative uses the IBKR data available to your TWS / IB Gateway session, subject to the permissions and subscriptions on your IBKR account.

Licensing

The current public beta is free during beta and expires August 15, 2026. If paid licensing is added later, license validation may involve your email address, license key, and subscription status. License validation would not require your IBKR username or password.

Beta download and follow-up

When you request the XLNative beta download, Trelliq Labs collects your email address. We use it to deliver the download, check whether installation and setup are working, send beta updates and expiration notices, provide support, and ask for product feedback. You can unsubscribe from non-essential messages at any time.

The site records basic operational events such as beta call-to-action clicks and download requests. Those events may include time, page path, referral source, browser user agent, country derived from Cloudflare request headers, and a hashed IP address for abuse prevention, aggregate measurement, and troubleshooting.

The site also uses a first-party analytics cookie containing a random identifier. The identifier is converted to a one-way visitor key before storage and is used to update one compact funnel record as you move from a landing page to the beta form and download. It is not used to track you across other websites. The cookie expires after 90 days.

Diagnostics

Diagnostic exports may include logs that are useful for support, such as connection status, configuration details, and error messages. Review diagnostic exports before sending them to support.
